about

"Never Go" is a song about problems we keep to ourselves. Sometimes it is responsible to deal with our own issues, but to a certain point we need to allow others to help us if they are willing. I see the song as a conversation I have with myself a lot. Does asking for help sound good? Or does going at it alone sound good?

Sometimes your problems can be a lot for other people to handle which is why I turn to God. It requires laying your life down and you aren't always going to like what you hear. Ultimately the song is about never going back to that dark place where you bring others down because of your problems.

lyrics

Lay your life down and hear a flat line
does it sound good?
Torn up pieces of notes you can not find
does alone sound good?

I swear, I'll never go there again
I swear, you'll never know these things
I hold so deeply within

Less talk, more sound and things we can't define
does it sound good?
Lay your life down and hear a flat line
does alone sound good?

I swear, I'll never go there again
I swear, you'll never know these things
I hold so deeply within

I hold so deeply within

I swear, I'll never go there again
I swear, you'll never know these things
I hold so deeply within

about

The Wilson Thrills Birmingham, Alabama

5-piece rock band from Birmingham, AL. Their style of music is heavily based in punk rock, but due to a college education in music, it’s not surprising for songs to get a little complicated while staying under the 3 miin mark.
